Welcome to the Blue Mountain Middle School Music Department Home Page!

Every BMMS student is enrolled in either general music, band, orchestra, or chorus.  Students may choose to schedule both  instrumental and vocal music.  Extra-curricular opportunities include Select Choir, Jazz Band, and Contemporary Orchestra.  In addition, some students will participate in All-County performing groups and will perform at the annual NYSSMA Festivals.

Concert Attendance Policy

All music students are required to perform at their assigned concerts as a part of the music curriculum.  Concerts are treated as final exams, and students who fail to attend a concert may have their grade negatively impacted. In the event of an absence, the student may receive an alternate assignment
