Meet Your Teams

To develop a responsive plan, we will engage with a variety of teams to listen to feedback, generate ideas, design proposals, and catalyze change. Here are the teams, their roles and their members


Project Team

Role

  • Runs logistical details, convenes teams, ensures the project is running smoothly and following the timeline.

Steering Team

Role

  • Serves as a representative body who kicks off the project and “steers” it throughout.
  • Conducts focus groups, reviews trends from stakeholder engagement and formulates initial focus areas/pillars.

Planning Team

Role

  • Dives deeply into the planning for one or more focus areas
  • Designs solutions, makes recommendations for initiatives and action steps within the focus areas

Members

  • These teams will be determined from December-February,
    as we determine the pillars of the strategic plan
    (each pillar will have a planning team).

Advisors

Role

  • Serves the process in a consultative capacity
  • Reviews documents and planning systems
  • Gives feedback at key points
  • Ensures decision-making is equitable and representative of the community

Members

  • We have a large number of stakeholders currently acting as advisors (around 50). The formal advisory teams will be determined in December-February, as we determine the pillars of the strategic plan (each pillar will have a set of advisors).

 


Steering Team Sessions

  • Steering Team Kickoff Meeting: October 20, 2021
    • Build a shared understanding of the project and intended outcomes, provide clarity to the Steering Team members about their role in this project, and prepare for upcoming stakeholder engagement activities.
  • In-person Kickoff and Review of Stakeholder Engagement Feedback: Dec 8, 2021
    • Review stakeholder engagement data to determine trends + focus areas for further exploration and ideation, prepare to share trends with the community at the December town hall.
       

Advising/Planning Team Sessions

  • Advising/Planning Team Kickoff Meeting: November 5 and 8, 2021
    • Build a shared understanding of the project and intended outcomes, provide clarity to the Advising/Planning team members about their role in this project, and describe the 1-1 interview process.
