Meet Mrs. Landry!
Welcome to General Music and Chorus with Mrs. Landry!
This is my ninth year of teaching, though my third teaching in the Hendrick Hudson district. Previously, I taught elementary general music, chorus, and orchestra in New York City and middle school orchestra and high school AP music theory on Long Island. Though my main instrument was originally violin, I am also proficient in piano, voice, ukulele, and organ.
I received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the Hartt School of Music at University of Hartford and a Master of Music degree in Music Education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.
I enjoy the creative atmosphere general music embodies as well as developing the one instrument we all have access to as human beings - our voices. I look forward to working with your students and sharing with you their compositions, projects, and performances throughout the year!
