Welcome to ENL- English as a New Language!

As an ENL Teacher, my primary responsibility is to service students whose native language is not English.  My academic goals are to support ELL students with English language acquisition as well as to broaden cultural awareness.  As mandated by New York State, ELL students receive additional language support and ENL instructions are based on incorporating specific strategies across all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.  

Parents involvement is an essential element in the academic success of students and I look forward to meeting each one to establish open communication and cooperation.
