Alana Witkowich joined the Blue Mountain Middle School community as a small-class Social Studies teacher for grades six, seven and eight in 2019. She is thrilled to be part of this school's professional staff.

Mrs. Witkowich earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Adolescence Education and History from SUNY Cortland, then completed her Master’s of Arts is History at the same university. She holds NYS teaching certificates in Social Studies, 5-12 and Students with Disabilities, 7-12. Alana comes to Blue Mountain with nine years of professional teaching experience in New York City and several local school districts.
