District Launches Strategic Planning Process, Seeks Community Input
The Hendrick Hudson School District is developing a new Strategic Plan that will identify and implement key instructional priorities, drive practice across all five schools, and be representative of the community. This is an opportunity to envision aspirational learning opportunities and goals for our students so they are successful after graduation.
The first step in this process is hearing from key stakeholders (students, staff, families and community members) in a variety of ways over the next month, in order to obtain feedback regarding what’s working and where there are opportunities to create new solutions together.
Ways to Get Involved
- From now until December 6, complete the Community Assessment Form. Your responses to this brief questionnaire will help shape our district’s priorities for the next several years.
- The district will also be hosting one-hour focus groups and 30-minute, one-on-one interviews. We are seeking staff, family and community members to participate in both of these important engagement opportunities - please share your interest and availability using this link.
- Finally, we are still looking for volunteers to join the Steering and Advisory teams. Please click here to learn more and apply to be part of the strategic planning process.
Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this important conversation!
