    Read Them Before You See Them!

    Everyone knows the book is always better than the movie.  Read these books before you see them on the big screen.

    The Sun is Also a Star - Nicola Yoon - May 17, 2019

    Two teens--Daniel, the son of Korean shopkeepers, and Natasha, whose family is here illegally from Jamaica--cross paths in New York City on an eventful day in their lives--Daniel is on his way to an interview with a Yale alum, Natasha is meeting with a lawyer to try and prevent her family's deportation to Jamaica--and fall in love.

    Who Doesn't Love Listening to a Great Story? 

    SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens.  Returning April 25, 2019, SYNC gives away two free audiobook downloads per week, pairing two high-interest titles by theme.  SYNC is sponsored by AudioFile Magazine and titles are delivered through the Overdrive app.  

    Download Details

    • Downloads are in MP3 format, hosted by OverDrive, and are Mac and Windows compatible.
    • Downloads will operate through the OverDrive app.
    • Most listening devices are supported.
    • Each SYNC audiobook will be available for download for a period of 7 days (only).
    • Titles, once downloaded, are yours to keep.
