The HHE PTA is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization registered in New York State. The PTA’s mission is to be a powerful voice for all children, relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child.

The HHE PTA serves all three Elementary Schools in the Hendrick Hudson School District:

• Buchanan-Verplanck: Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade
• Furnace Woods: Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade
• Frank G Lindsey: Third Grade, Fourth Grade, and Fifth Grade

Did you know that the PTA…

• Hosts events like Fall Festival, School Dances, and Family Fun Nights?
• Fundraises by working with community partners and companies (School Toolbox, Holiday Shop, and Scholastic)?
• Provides enrichment programs like After School Academy and field trips?
• Recognizes and supports teachers and staff by offering grants, hosting luncheons and coordinating Appreciation Weeks?
