The Board of Education of the Hendrick Hudson Central School District will convene on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of a regular meeting. Math Night Brings the Hendrick Hudson Community Together

The turnout for Math Night on Monday, Nov. 10 at Frank G. Lindsey Elementary School was outstanding, with 185 students from all three elementary schools joining in the fun! The event showcased that math can be exciting, engaging, and full of discovery.

SAILOR Program Hosts Ossining, Lakeland at a Halloween Celebration

The first Halloween party hosted by the Hendrick Hudson SAILOR program was a smashing success at the Cortlandt Youth & Recreation Center on Thursday. The Hendrick Hudson students and staff members welcomed peers from Ossining and Lakeland High Schools for a fun event designed to bring the students together.

This meeting is not open to the public.

Hendrick Hudson Welcomes Beau Morki to Athletic Department

Beau Morki will serve as Hendrick Hudson's Transitional Administrator of K-12 Physical Education, Health and Athletics, working alongside Tom Baker for the next three months. Mr. Morki will take over as the Director on Jan. 1, 2026.

The Board of Education of the Hendrick Hudson Central School District has called for a special meeting on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., Hendrick Hudson High School Cafeteria, 2166 Albany Post Road, Montrose, NY 10548. The entrance is at the back of the building. 

This will be a brief meeting to approve items related to district operations.

Blue Mountain Joins Hendrick Hudson High School, Earning PLTW Recognition

While Hendrick Hudson High School was recognized for an eighth consecutive year by Project Lead the Way — the only high school in New York State to receive that distinction in that time period — this year Blue Mountain Middle School was also honored. Blue Mountain was named a PLTW Distinguished Gateway School.

Career Fair Offers Students a Chance to Explore

Hendrick Hudson High School held a Career Fair in the cafeteria on April 11, 2025. The event, which was organized by the Guidance Department, had 20 different professions represented.

Elementary Students Compete in Math March Madness

Throughout March, students from all three Hendrick Hudson elementary schools have been motivated to practice their math skills while participating in a First In Math March Madness competition within their buildings.

Career Day at Frank G. Lindsey Inspires Students

Sixteen different presenters visited Frank G. Lindsey Elementary School on March 21, 2025 for Career Day, discussing and demonstrating everything from police dog work to engineering, athletic training, music, forensics and much more.

Kickball Tournament Fundraiser a Success

The 5th Grade Committee hosted a Kickball Tournament Fundraiser at the Hendrick Hudson High School Dome on Jan. 31, 2025 to help raise money for the class' upcoming trip to Ashokan.

Assemblywoman Dana Levenberg Pays a Visit to Hendrick Hudson

Dana Levenberg, a member of the New York State Assembly from the 95th district, visited Buchanan-Verplanck Elementary School on April 24, 2024. In addition to Levenberg touring the school, the visit allowed school district leaders to advocate for Hendrick Hudson.

FBLA Club Shines at Statewide Competition

The FBLA Club at Hendrick Hudson High School competed in a State Leadership Conference in Rochester, NY from April 10-12, 2024 and had several students who placed in the Top 10.

Kindergarten Teacher Surprised by Golden Apple Award

Marisa D'Itri, a kindergarten teacher at Frank G. Lindsey, was the surprised recipient of the Golden Apple Award, which is presented by WHUD 100.7 to the Teacher of the Month. D'Itri was joined by Hendrick Hudson administrators, Board of Education members and her family.

Furnace Woods Students Learn the Possibilities of STEAM

Furnace Woods hosted a STEAM Career Day on Thursday, March 28, 2024. The event featured 16 different presentations that introduced students to careers related to the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.

Athletic Trainer Meg Greiner is an Asset for Sailor Athletes

March is celebrated across the country as National Athletic Training Month. Hendrick Hudson's athletic trainer, Meg Greiner, has worked with Sailor athletes for nearly 23 years. "My job," Greiner said, "is to be there and help them continue doing what they love."

Hendrick Hudson's Annual Art Show is Now on Exhibit

Hendrick Hudson's annual K-12 Visual Art Show is now on exhibit at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library. The exhibit will be on display from March 28 to April 28 in the library's Community Room and features artwork from students all five of the district's schools.

She wasn’t only nervous about visiting the music suite at her next school; she envisioned a quiet environment where younger and older students required time to grow comfortable with one another.

A New Science Lab is Poised to Enhance the Student Experience at HHHS

A new science lab, Room 9, which is located just below the building’s main level, opened its doors in March after years of planning and months of reconfiguration. It’s now a centerpiece in Hendrick Hudson’s award-winning Project Lead the Way program, which includes Dr. Jeanine Hall’s Biomedical Sciences courses.
