Welcome to the Communications Office
The Communications Office serves as the liaison between the district and the public, providing information, news and events related to Hendrick Hudson schools. The communications specialist is responsible for overall district communications, media relations, school/community outreach and managing social media to enhance relationships between the Hendrick Hudson School District and key stakeholders: students, families, and the community the district serves.
The district’s Communications Office has been recognized for “Outstanding Achievement in Educational Communications” in the annual New York School Public Relations Association (NYSPRA) Communications Awards competition, and both Soundings and The Lanyard have been recognized by NYSPRA and NSPRA (National School Public Relations Association) in the newslettter category of their annual communications competitions.
