Art Students Complete Mural at HHHS with Help of Local Artist

High school art students worked with local artist Joe Pimentel this month to design a mural that represented Hen Hud. The students created a variety of sketches related to the theme of “Being a Sailor” to help form the mural, which is located in the Hendrick Hudson High School Science Wing.
“Mr. Pimentel helped us combine the designs into a large mural consisting of waves that part in the middle,” HHHS art teacher Jessica Nash said. “This idea came from our students wanting a mural they could interact with. There is a space in the middle to take photos with the mural and show Sailor pride.”
