FBLA Club Shines at Statewide Competition
The FBLA club at Hendrick Hudson High School had a strong showing at the State Leadership Conference in Rochester from April 10-12, 2024. Over 700 participants were in attendance and competed in over 60 tests and performance events and many of Hen Hud’s FBLA’s members had success.
Here are the Sailors who had top finishes throughout the competition:
- Entrepreneurship: Rhylee Adviento, Santiago Patino, Alex Soltowski — Second Place
- Accounting 2: Santiago Patino — Third Place
- Website Design: Jackson Van Dekker — Third Place
- Impromptu Speaking: Michael Socorro — Top 10
- Introduction to Business Presentation: Ebuka Emelumadu — Top 10
- Job Interview: Rhylee Adviento — Top 10
- Future Business Leader Award: Santiago Patino, Alex Soltowski — Top 10
Jet CaraCappa, Valentina Guevara and Matt MacGilvray also attended and competed during the event.
