Blue Mountain’s Student/Teacher Volleyball Game Makes a Return
Prior to spring recess, Blue Mountain Middle School physical education teacher Jaelyn Smith brought back the school’s traditional student-vs.-teaacher volleyball game.
Held in a packed gymnasium, the event brought laughter, cheers, and a sense of community as students and teachers faced off in a playful but competitive showdown.
Student teams represented each grade, and faced a line-up of faculty members who were brave enough to hit the court. The teachers brought experience and strategy, while students countered with youthful energy and bold moves. Each serve, spike and save was met with thunderous applause from the stands. Students created posters to cheer on their peers as well as their teachers.
More than a match, it was a celebration of school culture — where fun, teamwork and good-natured rivalry brought everyone together.
