Coming this Spring: Join Our Parent University Workshops

Hendrick Hudson School District will host Parent University workshops.

This spring, the Hendrick Hudson Central School District is launching Parent University, a new series of family workshops inspired by Stephen R. Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Led by Superintendent Michael A. Tromblee, this program will help families learn practical tools to support leadership, goal-setting, and personal responsibility at home — creating a shared language between school and family.

Each one-hour session will be held in the Hendrick Hudson High School library and recorded for families who cannot attend live.

Here are the schedule and themes for the workshops:

  • April 20, 5:00-6:00 p.m.Beginning with the End in Mind: Helping students set goals and develop a personal mission
  • May 4, 5:00-6:00 p.m. The Public Victory: Building strong relationships through empathy, cooperation, and teamwork
  • May 21, 4:45-5:45 p.m.Digital Leadership and Habits: Supporting students in making effective, responsible choices online
  • June 8, 5:00-6:00 p.m.The Private Victory: Encouraging self-discipline and proactive behaviors heading into summer

All parents and guardians are encouraged to take part in this collaborative opportunity to strengthen our community’s culture of leadership and growth. Additional details and information on how to register will be shared in the coming weeks.
