Fifth Graders Build Bonds with Thanksgiving Activities

The fifth-grade Thanksgiving activity at Frank G. Lindsey Elementary School was a wonderful celebration of community building and shared experiences.

The students rotated between three different classrooms, each offering unique Thanksgiving-themed activities designed to foster teamwork and collaboration. In one room, students worked together to create a figurative language feast, encouraging students to contribute their ideas and listen to each other's experiences, building a sense of unity and understanding. Another classroom hosted a Minute to Win it game that focused on collaboration and team building. Finally, the third classroom offered a team-based craft project, where students learned the value of working together towards a common goal of creating a Thanksgiving menu.

Through these activities, students not only celebrated the spirit of Thanksgiving but also strengthened their bonds as a cohesive and supportive community.
