Furnace Woods’ invaluable Head Custodian Scott Gilbert was named a Cleaning All-Star in Tennant’s Cleaning All-Star Sweepstakes, which was held this fall. The Tennant Company is a worldwide leader in manufacturing cleaning equipment.

Gilbert was one of 75 winners and earned his nomination for being someone who goes consistently above and beyond, and, according to Tennant, “always goes the extra mile to ensure a clean, safe and healthy environment.” All of the winners received a $100 gift card.

Gilbert was recognized for his achievement during Hendrick Hudson's Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 17, which was held in the Hendrick Hudson High School cafeteria.
