Hen Hud's Latest Sportsfest is a Major Success

The third annual Hen Hud Sportsfest was held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 and was a huge success!

This year's Sportsfest hosted 175 elementary students and 50 high school students at the all-day event, which including a series of clinics taught by Hendrick Hudson High School coaches and athletes. All students in Grades 1-5 in the district were eligible to participate.

The students who participated were able to try new sports and activities, including strength and conditioning, girls flag football and more.

The event was possible thanks to our sponsors: the HHEA, the Hendrick Hudson Elementary PTA, the Thomas R. Bertoline Youth Athletic Foundation, and Mary’s Giving Fund. All participants were provided with Gatorade, water, snacks, lunch, cooling towels, and homestyle ice cream. There was a coffee station for the parents and lunch thanks to the Hendrick Hudson Director of Food Services Clare Carey and our kitchen staff.
