Hendrick Hudson Literary Magazine Staff Members Visit Columbia University

Editors of Hendrick Hudson High School's literary magazine, The North Star, accompanied by the school Lit Mag Club advisor, Juliana Maye, attended the 84th annual Columbia Scholastic Press Association fall conference at Columbia University on Nov. 4, 2024.

During the conference, the students attended various workshops on publication topics, ranging from literary sensory imagery to feature magazine design. The beautiful crisp and sunny autumn weather only added to the enthusiasm of all participants, who ended the day filled with new ideas and experiences to share with other members of the Lit Mag Club and to utilize in the publication of the 2024-25 issue of the magazine.
