Hendrick Hudson Recognizes 27 Staff Members at 2026 Retirement Reception
The Hendrick Hudson School District offered a farewell celebration for 27 staff members who have retired or will retire at the conclusion of the 2025-26 school year. This year’s retirees were acknowledged with a reception and recognition at the Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, May 27 in the Hendrick Hudson High School cafeteria.
Michael A. Tromblee, Superintendent of Schools, and building principals Lisa Martino Alves, Anecia McGill, Josh Cohen, and Dr. Cynthia Kramer shared kind words about each retiree, and the honorees were given a parting gift in recognition of their years of service.
“On behalf of the Hendrick Hudson Central School District, I want to express my deepest appreciation to our retirees for your years of unwavering dedication to our schools and, most importantly, to the students we serve,” Mr. Tromblee said. “Our retirees poured their energy into creating environments where our youth can thrive, and for that we are all profoundly grateful.”
The recognition, which was attended by family, friends and other Hendrick Hudson colleagues, was organized by Dr. Steven M. Garcia, the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources & Leadership Development, and Fran Dodaro, Administrative Assistant for Human Resources, both of whom received thanks for their efforts. Mrs. Dodaro was not only an organizer but a celebrant; she was among the group of retirees.
