Thirteen Hendrick Hudson High School students studying at Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES were recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), recognizing their excellence in career and technical education as well as strong academic performance.

The NTHS celebrates the accomplishments of students who excel in their Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs while also meeting high academic standards in their home districts. Hendrick Hudson’s inductees represent a wide range of rigorous and hands-on programs, from child development and fashion design to health, technology, and skilled trades.

These students were honored at a recognition ceremony held at the PNW BOCES campus in Yorktown Heights on March 5, 2026. During the event, administrators and staff highlighted the hard work, character, and leadership demonstrated by the inductees, and students were encouraged to wear their NTHS stoles with pride at their graduations later this year. Five students spoke about the Society's core attributes before lighting a candle to symbolize that virtue. Hendrick Hudson's Belinda Apuango-Faican (pictured) presented the virtue of Character.

Hendrick Hudson High School’s partnership with PNW BOCES provides students with access to specialized CTE programs that build real-world skills, prepare them for college and careers, and open doors to opportunities in high-demand fields. The district congratulates all of its new National Technical Honor Society members on this outstanding achievement.
