Marketing Student Creations to Adorn Wall of Local Applebee’s

Hendrick Hudson High School Marketing students designed newsletters for a local Applebee's.

Students in Linda Cabral Marrero’s Marketing class at Hendrick Hudson High School are about to have their work on a recent project showcased at Applebee’s in Mohegan Lake.

The students first contacted the marketing department at the corporate offices for Applebee’s and were given approval to create newsletters. The colorful documents they designed highlighted the history of the restaurant chain, included a menu item description and a suggestion for a new item, and told a story about how Applebee’s gives back to local neighborhoods. The newsletters even featured a children’s corner with an activity for children.

“They were so impressed with the newsletters,” Ms. Marrero said. “There will be a framed display at Applebee’s so students and their families can view their creations.”
