The Extended School Year (ESY) SAILOR Program at Hendrick Hudson High School has concluded another successful summer, thanks to the incredible support from our community partners. A special shout-out goes to Avellino's, a pizzeria in Montrose that has made an invaluable ongoing commitment to our students' work-based learning.

Throughout the school year and into the summer, our SAILOR students have had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at Avellino's, learning a variety of skills that will serve them well in the future. Whether it's stocking shelves, helping customers, or assisting with other store operations, these experiences are essential in preparing our students for life beyond the classroom.

And of course, no visit to Avellino's is complete without a delicious treat! Our students look forward to the pizza they enjoy after a hard day's work, a gesture that is always greatly appreciated.

Hendrick Hudson School District is grateful to Avellino's for their continued support and dedication to our students. Together, we're helping to build a strong, supportive community that benefits everyone.
