  • Bus Safety Reminders in Town

    The first day of school is right around the corner, and Supervisor of Transportation Liz Gilleo, School Resource Officer Ed Ramirez and Sergeant Shane Farell of the Buchanan Police Department could be seen around town, hanging up posters reminding everyone to drive safely and obey all rules of the road around school buses. “We want drivers to be aware that children will soon be walking to and from bus stops, waiting at bus stops, or walking to and from their schools,” said Gilleo. “We want everyone to be safe as we begin the 2019-20 school year.”

  • Hen Hud Hosts New Teacher Orientation

    Teachers who have joined the Hendrick Hudson School District this school year recently spent two days at a new teacher orientation. The annual orientation allows new staff to get to know one another, meet key district staff, learn about the district as a whole, and familiarize themselves with all things Hen Hud!

  • Middle School Musicians Featured at State Music Conference

    Ten musicians represented the Hendrick Hudson School District with their performance in a nomination-only Middle School Honors Choir. The performance took place at the New York State School Music Association’s (NYSSMA) Summer Conference in Albany on August 10 and 11.
