National Junior Honor Society Induction

Congratulations to the 36 eighth graders who were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society on May 11, 2022 at Blue Mountain Middle School. To qualify, students need to attain a cumulative average of 95 or higher, demonstrate leadership, character and good citizenship, and perform community service.
Superintendent Joseph Hochreiter shared some thoughts with the students before advisor Eileen Callery presented them with their NJHS pins. "You have succeeded under some of the most challenging times ever," said Hochreiter. "Before you leave BMMS, I hope you will spend some time recognizing the teachers who have helped you achieve this wonderful accomplishment.
Assistant Principal Anecia McGill and Board of Education Vice President Lisa Anderson also took part in last night's ceremony.
