Hendrick Hudson High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club had a very successful showing at the New York FBLA Leadership Conference in Rochester, NY. Eleven Hen Hud students participated in workshops and competitions, alongside more than 800 other high school students from across New York State.
“I am so proud of all their hard work and their dedication over the past few months studying and preparing,” said math teacher and FBLA Club advisor Mrs. Jandrasits.
FBLA’s mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. Each year, NYS FBLA holds a State Leadership Conference where students attend workshops and compete in over 60 different business and computer events including written events, presentation and role playing.
The Hen Hud students who attended the conference were: Maggie Bernstein, Derek Gonda, Ben Mahler, Julian Weissman, Joe DiBitetto, Deepa Mistry, Amanda Gougelmann, Nina Tagliabue, Supriya Baskaran, Buu Hac Nguyen and Antara Jackson
