FGL Second Graders Recognized for Participating in NY Senate Creative Celebration

In November, the New York State Senate held their annual Thanksgiving Day Creative Celebration and Showcase, calling for artwork, poems or essays created by students in grades K-6, in response to the question, “What are you thankful for?”

Second graders in Sandy Feirman's art classes at Frank G. Lindsey Elementary School carefully considered this question and, combining writing and art, came up with wonderful works displaying what they are truly thankful for.

Just before the holiday break, the students received letters and certificates from Senator Murphy's office.
