On June 10, the Hendrick Hudson Music Department will induct 12 juniors into the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Additionally, 29 seniors will receive their graduation honor cords. The ceremony will take place at 7 pm at the high school.
This is the fourth year for the Music Honor Society at Hendrick Hudson High School. The three M's represent Modern Music Masters. Inductees are carefully selected on the basis of scholarship, character, leadership and service to the music program.
Each year, two students are selected to read their application essay; for this year’s ceremony, Rachel Moon and Harrison Turner have been chosen. The senior chosen to perform at tonight's induction is Larisa Bushkin, who will perform “Image” by Eugene Bozza on the flute.
Erica Denler, Lauren Morabito and Clare Carey (Chapter Advisor) are pleased to be celebrating the achievements and talents of these students. Joining in the celebration will be HHHS principal James Mackin, Superintendent Joseph Hocheriter and music teachers from the district’s elementary and middle schools.
