Superintendent Joseph Hochreiter sat down with local realtor Don Dwyer to once again review the current state of real estate in our area.
Dwyer looked at numbers for county, and local communities and considered such factors as inventory, closings, days on market, and sales price.
For the Hendrick Hudson community, the real estate outlook is very good, with increased buyer interest, increase in average price per square foot and properties selling quickly. Here are some specific highlights:
Since 2016, average home sale prices within the Hendrick Hudson School District rose from $377,000 to $458,000.
Since 2016, showings per listing rose from 3.7 per home to 6.4 per home.
Since 2016, number of days on market-to-sale decreased from 80 days to 57.
