BMMS Implements Remote Learning Plan for Friday, April 30, 2021
Early this morning, the district learned that an individual at BMMS tested positive for COVID-19. The person is currently isolating, and due to federal health privacy laws further information about their identity cannot be released. The County Department of Health and/or the school district will contact individuals who need to be contacted.
Given the significance of contact tracing, BMMS will implement the Remote Learning Plan today, April 30.
Those exposed to this individual will be mandated to quarantine for at least 10 days from the last exposure date. Additionally, it is recommended that any individual exposed be tested for COVID-19, however not until at least five days after a person’s last date of exposure.
