Hendrick Hudson High School Ranked Among the Top 8% Nationally

U.S. News & World Report has released its 2021 "Best High Schools" rankings, and Hendrick Hudson High School finds itself in good company, among the top high schools in the nation and New York State.

The high school was ranked 1,333 out of 17,857 schools, putting it in the top 8% nationally, a 3% jump since last year’s rankings. Within New York State, HHHS was ranked #132 out of 1,218 schools, putting it in the top 11%, a 4% jump over last year’s ranking.

The U.S. News & World Report high school rankings are based on factors such as college readiness, reading and math proficiency, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rates. College readiness measures participation and performance on advanced placement and international baccalaureate exams.

The rankings also take into consideration factors such as school enrollment, student diversity, participation in free and reduced-price meal programs, graduation rates and state assessment test results.
