As graduation draws near, Superintendent Joseph Hochreiter recently took a few minutes to sit down with the Class of 2022 Valedictorian and Salutatorian, Nish Mistry and Brooke Kivel, to reflect on their experiences at Hendrick Hudson High School and their plans for the future.
The students shared what they loved most about their Hen Hud experience and how they learned to balance rigorous academics with extracurriculars and other activities.
Nish will head to Northeastern University this fall to study computer science and economics, while Brooke heads to Cornell University, following in the footsteps of both her sister and mother. Nish hopes to go into the field of quantitative trading after college, and Brooke hopes to become a pediatric psychologist.
“The past two years have been especially challenging,” said Hochreiter, “but you’ve both made it through with flying colors.”
